Cardy’s Texas Style Chicken Fried Steak (Beef Steak)
Must accompany with the Country Style Cream Gravy and Texas Toast. Serve with the corn on cob, Mashed Potatoes, and biscuit. Serves four people.
1 ½ lb of Beef Round Steak about ¼ inch thick Sliced 4-5 oz each pounded and flattened with the mallet to tenderized
1Pt of Butter Milk 1% fat
1pt of Canola oil for cooking (you can use any kind of Vegetable oil)
Heat Canola oil in heavy frying pan to 325` to 340` F.
Take the Beef Steak pieces roll them in the ¼ portion of the Cardy’s Gourmet seasoned flour then dip in the butter milk
Then dredge them again into Gourmet seasoned flour and dip fry them till golden brown
At approximately 4 minutes of rolling them in the fryer (make sure there is no blood), Remove Steak carefully from the hot oil and drain on several layers of absorbent paper towels.
