Cardy’s Southern Style Fried Chicken

These well-seasoned fried Chicken pieces are very tasty on their own you. Serve with the corn on cob, Mashed Potatoes, and biscuit.

Ingredients

4 lb of Chicken Cut into quarters and legs or wings sprinkle the Cardy’s Lemon Pepper and keep it in the refrigerate for about and hour or longer (Score the Chicken Pieces so the flour and spices will

1Pt of Butter Milk 1% fat

4

1pt of Canola oil for cooking (you can use any kind of Vegetable oil)

Steps

Heat Canola oil in heavy frying pan to 325` to 340` F

Take the Chicken pieces roll them in the ¼ portion of the Cardy’s Gourmet seasoned flour then dip in the butter milk

Then dredge it again into Gourmet seasoned flour and dip fry them till golden brown

At approximately 10 minutes of rolling them in the fryer (make sure there is no blood), remove chicken carefully from the hot oil and drain on several layers of absorbent paper towels
